In forgotten places
there are daisies
to love
whether I am
or not
call them dogged or
ox-eyed or
marguerite
by any name
they are still
a treat.
Happy May Everyone!

All of the daisies of May (many blooming along our roadsides now in NW Alabama!) deserve and earn love by the blessings of their glow! Wonderful way to start the merry month of May for us,Diane. Thank you!

Happy May to you too Diane!! :):)
A beautiful poem and illustration as always. I love the little bud too!:)
I wonder if anyone still makes daisy chains. I used to love it as a child but think they are actually best left alone to grow and thrive instead of wilting around a neck, poor things!
Much love and hugs

Thanks, Christine! Yes…buds are hope…every living thing should be a little in bud at all times…
I love daisy chains…but I agree…I rarely pick flowers now.

Thanks, Caddo! Yes Camelot is one of my favorite musicals…was in the chorus when it was put on at my high school (tried out for Guinevere but a more popular girl whose voice kept cracking got it…) and helped make the costumes. Blessings for May and always!
