Thought this one was appropriate to repost with yet another blast of snow forecasted for Western New York tonight and tomorrow; and, also, as I sink further into the sweet lunacy that seems to be unavoidable as I finish a second novel. Apologies for my absence from your blogs – hopefully, soon I will have more free time and mind-energy! Thank you for your patience.
Looking for a little relief.
The pot is cracked from the cold,
the lavender scented like summer;
spring bulbs show impatience
while knowing they must wait.

Thanks so much, Lauren! I love the North American robins, but the English ones are just so sweet! The novel is finished … well, it has reached its conclusion … just a few weeks of tidying things up, etc. Snow is almost gone and things are even greening up and those bulbs are poking through. Amazing how quickly spring can shirk off such a long lingering winter. XO ♥

Thank you, Jane! We had a great deal of snow last weekend, but since it has warmed up a little and most of the snow is gone. It is amazing how quickly nature shakes off the long winter and wakes up with little bursts of green and soon those special spring colors. Thank you for your understanding and support. Blessings. XO ♥

Thanks, Ina! Suppose to get wet heavy snow this afternoon, evening and into tomorrow morning. We just started seeing grass again. It’s suppose to get much warmer, though, so it should melt quickly. I’m excited about writing the last lines … that I know where I’m going with it. So, off I go! 🙂 XO ♥
